don't think anyone would voluntarily choose prostitution as a career, but some of these ladies chose jobs like these because of circumstances. there are many poor in China, a result of their past.![]()

aiyo, of course lor, can't tell, there isn't words on their face or forehead that reads "I am a con man". Wolf in sheep's clothing.Originally posted by AndrewPKYap:Strange, the Singapore men that did the con job looked like decent educated guys and not the ah beng gangster types. Singapore crooks are the "brainy" types and not the "brawny" types.
If they were the brawny type they could have just grabbed the mobile or handbag and run... instead they thought out a plan that allowed them to take and go away before the victims realise it. This prevented a situation where people might chase them![]()
Prostitution itself is an occupation and a supply-demand thing.Originally posted by maurizio13:sighs.

Can blame them for snatching other's husband. Can you? After all, in a relationship there are 2 willing parties, the female is willing, so is the male. So you have a relationship. If the guy is with morals, he won't be involved in such things in the first place. So if you stab someone, do you blame the knife or the wielder of the knife? A relationship will never ever happen if the guy is faithful, unless the China girl drug your friend's husband, took pictures of him, blackmail him, which I think is unlikely. What's more likely is your friend's husband has an itch.Originally posted by Delphian:Prostitution itself is an occupation and a supply-demand thing.
But if they had sticked to their occupation and not start their scheming hubby-snatching plans and wrecking families in singapore, i guess we wouldn't be bothered about them as much either...
Selling your body = ok, your body.
Snatching husband = not ok, people's husband.
So hearing too many stories about them, and seeing how my 2 friends' family got wrecked by really callous china ladies, it impaired my ability to show them much pity, although i do agree that she must be pretty lost now if that was all she had... but well, she can always find someone to give her more anytime again... so no big deal.

Not supporting, just don't find it nice stereotyping others. Not my business if you guys really insist on doing it.Originally posted by xiaoxui:maurizio13, why are u a strong china supporter?
not only we are complaining china people, china people on the other hand are also complaining about us too.
didnt u read new paper, that lots of china prostitutes are loitering at residential areas, hotel areas instead of their geylang allowed zones. What is your opinion regarding this?Originally posted by maurizio13:Not supporting, just don't find it nice stereotyping others. Not my business if you guys really insist on doing it.
Government should do more to curb things like that.Originally posted by dreamykite:didnt u read new paper, that lots of china prostitutes are loitering at residential areas, hotel areas instead of their geylang allowed zones. What is your opinion regarding this?
Originally posted by maurizio13:y don't u "open urself up to other possiblities" as well and consider that it is possible that these china girls have really been telling u a great big lie? as much as the rest of us should "stop stereotyping" them and thinking that they're money-eating, husband-grabbing $lut$, shouldn't u stop stereotyping them as being innocent little poor things, with no choice/was tricked? as u said so urself, "don't go around generalising, have an open mind, be open to more ideas instead of stereotyipng others". not everyone who tells u a sob-sob story while standing along a geylang street is an angel. even anna nicole smith wasn't as poor thing as she made herself out to be pre-playboy.

of course we all know they can earn big money in short time. but what is the ultimate reason? did you do case study? if you were a Chinese mainlander in their position, you probably do the same. so.....
don't form generalisation about others without first understanding them first. there are cases of girls being tricked into prostitution on the premise of jobs in developed countries. those snake heads would then force these girls into prostitution to make money for themselves. lots of scenarios around, so don't go around generalising, have an open mind, be open to more ideas instead of stereotyping others.

i think most people in sg are very stereotypical, they do not open up themselves to other possibilities.
