My folks are in the fnb line, and they're currently the tenants of a shop space somewhere in the west of Singapore.
The owner of the shop space breached the contract of lease not once but thrice. To cut a long story short, on the 3rd time he wants to terminate the contract and offered to pay my parents a pathetic sum of money.
Well, everyone in my family thought it's bollocks and made an counteroffer to buy over the ownership of shop space. The original price we agreed on in black and white is (Okay, won't reveal the amount here). But the owner again, breached the agreement.
So now, he's going to get his ass fried big time for 1.5 years of loss in profits, breached contracts and agreements and all. -

But he's as stubborn as a mule, even challenged me with a "you think I don't have lawyers" the last time we spoke.
Now, we're suing him for a mid 6 figures sum and he's starting to call me up himself and all.
