Yup.. pretty much. I mean come on.. who wants to be with a loser.. a poor loser somemore.. a poor loser that cannot give any security. Think about it. In the end of the day , they all want security. N its whether u can provide it , or not.
But there are rare cases of love.Through rich or poor that kinda thing.And maybe perhaps your age , now studying or working.

Would prefer an average guy who comes home for dinner every evening, does the dishes with me in our little home, and brings me out taking MRT...
Than a rich guy who provides me a big house, a maid, but is hardly home for dinner and a big car, a chauffeur, but the only one that goes out with me is his credit sub card...
Well, my dad ain't rich, but he kept my mum and me happy... so it's the man, it's the love, not the money... (in my humble opinion)

Most couples, in fact almost all of them will eventually quarrel because of lack of $$$. With $$$ in a relationship, that risk factor will be taken out of the love equation. But it doesn't means that the relationship will definitely work out, at least it is safe to say that the relationship will not break out because of $$$ as the primary factor.
I think all the gals in the world would rank $$$ as one of the top few priorities when deciding on future partners. It's not just about the financial security issue, but rather is it about living a more comfortable life and happiness in the relationship. Which gal doesn't feel happy when she is able to wield wind, rain, sunlight at her whim?
You may find some people who doesn't mind much about $$$ in a relationship, but be together with them long enough and you will soon find out that they really mind alot about $$$.
I do mind alot about $$$, cos I love $$$ alot. So...if no money...no honey.
