Places to fish...

Hi all,
I'm thinking of going fishing with my dad tomorrow... Where are the places to fish? I know of Bedok Jetty, but it seems always crowded, and if it rains, have to run a distance to take shelter right?
Any suggestions? Not off shore tho, he can't take boat rides

I don't know what fishes he wants to fish, i didn't ask him coz it's meant to be a surprise outing after his retirement, and i got him a new rod...
Maybe just anywhere that's nice, can sit down fish and chit chat and picnic? I don't know, i havent gone fishing b4 lol... sorrie can't ans ur qns properly...

And oh, no need to walk much also... coz his leg will feel painful after too much walking... i read on net, some says changi, marina south, but didnt state exact location, and i cant bring my limping dad around to explore to look for the location, you see? -

The nearest shelter is a bus stop.
Nope its not like a park.
And some piece of history.
400 ppl died at that beach during the japanese operation.
Pitot ah lau and some of my friends were there few weeks ago.
But then its very quiet and peaceful. -

but to be safe, try and call them to ask for more info. the person in charge is very friendly.. (i called b4) -

I been to Farmart before, went to buy new fishes for my aquarium, but never knew they had fishing areas too!!! I'll call them for more info tmorrow... Thanks sweets!! -
