School field trip (oversea)

Hello my dear peep in SgF. Would like to ask, my school is holding a field trip during November, and is only open to sec 2 and 3s. We the sec 4s tried to appeal to our DM, and VP but both of them direct us to our 'wonderful' principal.
Now here's the problem, I know is possible for me to appeal to her, and my N level ends on October, so people, or those who are civil servant or teacher in school, is it possible for me to join the field trip?
If yes/no, why?
-From one of my teacher, he said, is because after N level, we no longer belong to school properties, hence insurance is not covered for us. Now, how am I going to reply if she really said that.
I seriously need some serious reply, because, is kinda unfair for the current batch, because the previous batch went to Australia, and the next batch pending on going to Laos. Our batch didn't go anywhere for the past 4 years.

Why would you wish to go together with the "school" when you don't even know 3/4 of the entire student population. I think that you would more likely wish to go with just your class (or a combination of some classes), which in this case, you can take the initiative and plan a year-end overseas trip with the help of your form teacher (if he/she is willing of course).Originally posted by toyota-corolla:That's one way, but using this method can't make us go together with the school.
Pool together a list of classmates/friends whom are willing to go on this overseas trip, plan the dates and travel itinerary (probably something better then the school's original plan, just to spite the principal), and approach a suitable travel agency and discuss your plans with the good people there. Huge groups like yours will attract bulk discounts from the agencies and they will be more then willing to help you out with the various travel arrangements.

My school senior's tried appealing for a NZ trip... they got almost the whole level signatures and sent to the office... the recipient said will past to Principal... waited for 2 weeks, the representative ask the Principal personally and she said never receive, say the letter got lost through other HODs wanting to read it...

Correction, although I don'tknow the entire 3/4 of the school, but 3/4 of the school know me. Moreover they have send student councillor to go. for me, during my sec sch days, i nvr got a chance to go overseas or wad adventure camp.
even for OBS, i wasnt even given a chance, just because i did not join a uniform group.
who more jia lat den me?
pri sch also, nvr even got a chance to go overseas or those adventure camp.
