  I think Slynn is too fussy. If the reception english is perfect, she will be writing columns in newspaper now and not be a receptionist. I think the receptionist is not trying to be funny and make a genuine mistake which even I do it myself. Is she so dumb that she cannot understand what the receptionist is trying to say ? I can tell immediately she is asking me to sit down even if her pronunciation is bad. Does she really expect the receptionist to ask her to take the seat away ? Even if the receptionist mumbles "peace tak a si" I can understand she is asking me to sit down.
  
  Next time she expect the cleaning lady to say
  
  "ma'dam, can you be so considerate and kind to step out of your seat so I can have a chance to mop the floor and remove the accumulated dirt beneath your desk to uphold the hygenic condition of the office which I am employed and obliged to do?"
  
  I am sorry I cannot come out with a better and more "deeper" engish other than the above :p
