  hmm, that depends on individuals what..
  
  if you go to top notch universities, but your results (for example) is as good as others, of course you will not get employed for sure..
  
  the same case applies if your results aren't good enough to secure the top few highest GPA of 4, than you what makes u standout from the rest?

  Lol getting into Harvard, your SAT score must be ranged from 1500 - 1600 (full mark) so as to get a decent course. But hor, some foreign universities accept student who scores above a certain minimum score, be it A lvl grade or SAT. Usually quite high. Once u passed their criteria, then u can choose the course u want in the uni (any course i mean). But i believe super hot courses still need filtering (selecting the best).

  My application to UC Berkeley got accepted, with a SAT score of 1490(2004 grading).
  
  The cost of studying Journalism there was not worth it though.. fees + accommo would have cost me $300k.
