I went Genting not long ago. Played at the themepark.
At night nothing much to do except gambling. In the end went down to Kl eat bak kut teh and play around. -

sat night - movie and casino...

the food's expensive and not that nice..
the hotel's small, old and stinks of smoke..
Better to go KL, and if want to check out genting, take a cab up for the day to visit the casino and theme park.. -

yeah, besides theme park & gambling, got lots of frustration too.
relative booked d hotel room on line for me. reached there wanted to check in the receptionist asked for authorization letter of the person who booked d hotel room.
they must be crazy. go there pave the road (lost in gambling ma!) so nice for them still ask for this ask for that. just wait till s'pore has its own casino. FCUK genting highlands also no time.

that place is just argh... i seriously wouldn't consider that place fun, not even an iota unless you're younger then 12 yrs old.
not to mention the destruction of natural habitats that is ever happening over there.

besides, those not hardcore enough in gambling will find s'pore casino's expensive

well one things for sure, the weather is still ok. and i enjoy drinking coffee at resort hotel's coffee bean & tea leaf -
well if you like cool weather supplemented by a good o coffee or fresh tea from the factory, i suggest you go to cameron highlands.
and oh, if you go there. don't forget the jagungs!!!
