No lah but frankly when you go oversea... Singapore is kinda too good to be thru. Singapore is quite nice actually...Everyone here consider rich liao... can go oversea and slap their face with our strong SGD. Humiliate the people and bed their daughter... haha just kidding. But Singapore is a place that when you do things it is quite fair and safe... maybe sometime too play safe... -

i don't understand.........the national day celebrations cost at least tens of millions of dollars, excluding the damage to the enviroment indrectly.......why spend that kind of money when it could be used to offset the GST and transport hikes?
years and years of NDP getting grander and grander.....10 years == several hundred millions liao!!!!!!

Why spend money to celebrate events like Chinese new year, festival and such. We just spend our time working liao. Why eat in Restrauant? Spending money on all these is Extravaganza.
Anyway... i think Singapore has more than enough to do that... further more, The few millions spend on NDP is only a small portion to what the 2% increase government will get. -
