Just be more diplomatic, like saying, Miss, your sari is so beautiful, so graceful and u look so beautiful in it, but it will be a waste for me to sit on it, won't you mind removing it, thank you. Who knows maybe both of you can become frens ya. -

On the other side their are these menial jobs that Singaporeans are too proud to take such as cleaners or construction workers or whatever. But of course they wil complain that the have to SEE or come into contact with those foreign labourers on public transport.
Such arrogance in Singapore. And yet when a Singaporean chooses to go abroad they want to be treated fairly and politely. Even when in their home country they treat freigners like shyt. -
Very well said. I am an Indian and I think although the TS is not being racist, he is just super whinny and no brains and has no sense of social etiquette whatsoever. If she was inconsiderate then she would have blocked the seat entirely with something (much like I see daily with old people and their bags). Instead the lady sounded as if she was just sitting there on her journey and along comes this weak legged racist punk who wants to cause trouble and whine like a girl.
My guess is the lady had no idea her sari was on the seat and even if it was I am sure it did not cover the ENTIRE seat in such a way that a person could not politely ask her to move it.
This person is assuming the lady would give him problem if he asked her to move the sari...ASSUMING. Just because she is not the same race as he is. But in fact this person is the one causing problems by spreading racial disharmony on a forum. -
