it's still bad...but we shouldn't look at these students like they're hopeless and really like have no respect.....we should remb that they're still learning about respect, learning about what's right and what's wrong....
to students, ranting in a blog is like writing in a personal diary....they don't know how public it can get....they only think that their friends will read it and others won't pay much attention.....this is the thing...they don't know about the consequences of their action sometimes....schools can teach them about the consequences.... -

I beg to differ . We only hate teachers when we did nothing thats very wrong and got scolded . i am sure not only students dont have good impression of teachers, many teachers dont have good inpression of some students either. instead, they choose to keep mum or speak out in a civilised way.
we have to admit they are children, in which such flaws occur, however, being a minor does not get the off the hook. the teachers can sue them for libel and it is a serious case.
blogging not being harmful or its about freedom of speech? anything not infringing the rights of the other parties will be alright. heard about the boy who posted racial remarks? it infringed the law of the state and he was prosecuted. however in this case, civil suits can be raised with a high chance of winning. -

I think we're all making way too big a deal of something like this. A student hates a teacher which is very common and normal so she vents her anger through her blog which is meant to be read by her friends. It's the same as a student telling her friends during lunch about how the new teacher is such a bitch, etc. It's not as public as you think because who would read her blog besides those who know her?
