Hong Kong Drama Serial VS Local Drama Serial

How come hong kong drama serial are much much better than local drama serial??? Actors and actresses also so much better than local ones in terms of popularity, X-factors and acting skill... I wonder nowadays who still watch lousy local drama serial???
Don't local production teams feel ashamed of themselves for not improving??? -

HK caters to international audiences, and they have lots of international stars and international acclaimed film/drama makers.
SG caters to SG, have lots of SG celebraties, unknowned film/drama makers. -
like the recent "shui hu wu jian dao" is so so much better than that stupid "bao bei fu nu bing"...
even their class B actors and actresses drama serial is so so much better than our so-called class A actress "bai wei xiu"???

You should try and wait for "jiu dian feng yun" to come out in channel U.
That one really nice.
The only decent flim with decent plot that sg have made is "Fu man ren jian"
Quite a old show liao. With the "zhou chu ming".
He is one of the better actor in sg liao. -
