can you really study in fast food or airport???

hi all,
There are people going to airports/fast food studying.
but I am just curious at how much is really absorbed..
just last night, was at the MOS burger in Bishan J8, and saw this couple.
the guy is trying to study, but I think his galfriend is trying her best to "mount" him. Funnily, the rest is quite packed but I see alot of people "studying".
So for those who felt that it was really benefits them.. maybe you can share..
or those who been through, and feel that it did not really help.. -
they are not studying,, just showing to ppl that they are hardworking haha

yes i did most of my studying in the Airport...but normally those that dun require any form of written calculations

actually, I seen some who just sat close to power outlets so that they surfing web..
but I really hope that they can absorb..if not waste time only lor. -
i prefer to study at home...

of going into a plane and fly off
to another country for holiday
thats was what when i am young
cant afford to go anywhere

i study faster when I study outside
but nowadays I lazy to go out study. sacrifice for slower studying at home -

It's not so much the venue as it is the technique that counts.

Somehow i absorb less and tend to be easily distracted by things happening around when studying outside. Constantly, there will be things to attract your attention (Eg. Chio bus or even a crying child.)
Hmm, but airport has a good ambience though. Imo free from disturbance and has an "calm-aura". -

No. Noise sometimes is a major source of distraction to me.

Even if can concentrate, won't it be very uncomfortable in the airport? I mean most of the times you don't even get a chair.

but can absorb or not is a matter of the individual. Some people can still focus on studying regardless of the noise, crowd and location.
It also depends on your company. If your friends are those guai guai studying type then you can jolly-well study peacefully with them while those who only want to play-play would make it hard for you to concentrate.
