does anyone notice during funerals

  always will have only ONE moth thats always nearest to the coffin?
  
  im doing abit of research on this phenomenon but i need to cfm if it occurs alot because from what i heard its quite true.
  
  maybe moths symbolise life after death? or they help guide the souls to the other side?
  
  opinions welcome.

  I THINK it seems to represent the "person" who had passed on and come back to see the surrounding of the family. once it disappears, it will go on "somewhere else"

  Well. it might only be a coincidence of some sort but not always it appears at the funeral itself, u might find it some place close to him(like his home or places he likes). Even so, it's up to individual to believe this sort of phenomenon. Dun have much experience about it though but i have seen my fair share.

  hmm according to my mother, the moth symbolizes the person.
  
  coz when my uncle died, a big moth appeared and he was like those strong guys with alot of power. (hei se hui lao da)

  i forgot to add, the moth dissapears right after the funeral proceedings..
  
  it will just vanish and no one knows where the moth goes to

  well.. thats the same thing happened to me when my Grandma passed on. "She"(the moth) was around in my house during the whole funeral proceedings too, but after we had sent her to the "oven thingy", then it disappeared again. I heard from my relatives this thing de. ><
