oh actually moth like crowded ppl.. so moth will appear at any crowded ppl cuz it produces enough heat for moth .. so after funeral. no more heat. .so it left.

My Grandma passed on three weeks ago. And yes, there was a huge moth flying around the coffin.

but butterfly in my house after my grandpa died. a very huge one!
my hands are considered big. it's bigger than my hands. It's on the wall near my grandpa's room. And it's standin upside down de. And very big.
We went to buy 4D. The number come out is pak kar liao. That means for etc, we bought 1234, the first prize is 4321
usually is either moth or butterfly when this kind of things happened.

last time when i Am young i saw a moth below my block.
but its 1 day after the funeral when i saw the big moth.. -
I remember my mum telling me that the spirits of the deceased come back in the form of a moth...my memory is a little vague on the details...but it has something to do with a belief linked to reincarnation and manifestation of the spirits to say their last goodbyes.
And yes, every funeral i have been to has seen the likes of moths in some wat or another.
Some say this belief resulted from old traditional funerals in kampongs where at night candles were kept lit throughout the night which resulted in not only moths but other insects to be drawn to it.
However the insect most associated to it became the moth simple due to the popular saying " like a moth to a flame"
*Off topic -shinigami/bleach...Since it was referenced in a japanese themed cartoon, you could try checking up on japanese superstitions linked to deaths as well. They had to have derived the idea from some pre-existing belief.
Also try cross referencing it to Hindu superstitions.

im doing abit of research on this phenomenon but i need to cfm if it occurs alot because from what i heard its quite true.
maybe moths symbolise life after death? or they help guide the souls to the other side?
