  for married guys, how long did u pamper your wife?
  
  i have come across many marriages that simply becomes stale in the later years..at the beginning, when the guy is full of lust for the girl, he can promise her the moon and the stars. after a few years, he calls her unreasonable for wanting to be treated like a princess (in some cases, the women are simply treated like maids!) don't most guys promise to be nice, to accomodate the girl all his life? i mean, as a gentleman, shouldn't the nice gestures continue even into the later years? like the small thought of sending flowers once in a while etc. many give excuses such as "we're too old to be romantic" or "i have no patience for her childish ways"
  
  is a guy only nice before he beds her?

  i only kn...im dating my wife for 3 yrs & married for 6 yrs wif a kid...
  till today...im still cook for her, love her, pamper her.....

  heehee i think it depends on what sort of 'romance' people are looking at... some people like the works - candlelight dinner, uhh what, flowers, diamond rings all the commercialised romance.
  
  living together, life is of course very much mundane - what else do we talk about mostly besides day at work, what to buy at super market, this household appliance spoil liao, where to take your/my parents out this weekend.. etc etc
  
  that's life...
  
  but like baby hunter my hubby does the cooking often, especially when he knows i am very tired or not feeling well he would rather cook than tabao after a hard days work, the housework etc and ...
  
  I appreciate these very thoughtful ways of making my everyday easier because if marriage is forever, well forever is made up of everydays u know.. not just special days..
  
  so yes I rather be 'pampered' in this way than once in a long while, diamond ring or watever shit.

  Together for 10+ years, married for 6+.
  
  I think it takes effort to be romantic, and to learn to give and take.
  
  Yes, the nice gestures should continue all the way to the later years... But it's not just the nice gestures that is important. Understanding your partner is also very impt.
  
  Sometimes we guys concern ourselves too much with personal things, and bread and butter (money-making) that we forget to pamper and shower love to our loved ones.

  Tat's what I hear from alot of married women. Never ever allow your hubby to know to inside out, so that he will not get tired of you.
  
  Many men wld feel that since we are married le, why still keep up with the novelty of skirtchasing?
  
  Anyway IMHO, a relationship be it BGR or Marriage, never ever let it go stagnant. You really gotta spice it up, add surprises once awhile. Men love "freshness", so do women.

  I dun understand is why every time guy wan sex he must go through so many process to get it. even so, he must continue the process whether there is going to be sex anot. the guy is a sex slave? bcuz he wan sex he muz do this and that to the gal so that she happy den she give sex? its not like the girl does not enjoy it too? so why is the skirtchasing so one sided?
  
  over the years, women fight for their rights for equality to men. today, in terms of careers, what men can do, women definately can do it or even better than men. they also fought for women independence, that women do not need a men around but, the law states that the man have to give them allowance every month after a divorce till the woman remarries? this is called independence?
  
  man are still humans, they cry when they feel emotionally hurt(just that the tolerance level are higher than women or they don't show it), they feel pain, happy, angry and sad.
  after so many years of delication to the wife, remember birthdays and such, buy diamond rings and flowers, I think sometimes, we men also wished that we are a woman, someone who make us happy and treat us good.
  
  once again a reminder, WE men put in efforts so that BOTH men AND women can enjoy a good sex. spare a thought on the other side? And we do not have sex with our wives because of lust, if you think that we men have sex with wives because of lust, the marriage is doomed for extra marital affairs.

  U should see those gals who continues to expect to be treated like a princess after marriage...not only from the hubby...but also from the in-laws.

  I'm a realist. When my husband and I were dating, I told him that he better be himself and treat me how he thinks he will treat me if we are together for a long time. I don't want special treatment which he can't keep up with a few years down the road so that I won't feel that there is a drop in standards of his affection and love for me.
  
  Well, his nice gestures still continue. We are together for 7 yrs and counting.
  He cooks for me sometimes and helps out with the housework still and buys me stuff to surprise me from time to time.
  
  We try to do new stuff together and we also give each other space to go out with our friends.
  
  Things we do can be silly things like "Let's go to the zoo today" or even a 2 person BBQ
  
  We still give each other a morning kiss every morning and a goodnight kiss every night and we still tell each other "I love you" and "I miss you"
  
  Maybe 7 yrs together is not a long time but it still feels like we are dating

  great idea!that prevents disappointment after marriage doesnt it. but 7 years sure is a long time! and it's sweet ur still doing silly things together!that's the way.haha.couples like u raise the hopes of all singles again
