Should you reveal all your saving to your future spouse?

  if i get married in SG ? under thier law ?
  
  i wont reveal ANY of my investments and properties. they will be under different names .. to protect myself. In case sh|t goes bad... i wont be shafted.

  since decided to spend lives together, jus reveal lor so easier to make future plans together.. can save money together.
  
  what's there to hide? if u dun even trust that person u gonna marry, might as well dun marry.

  It depends on individual couple, but in a marriage, my view is that a couple should not hide these things. It's good to know so that the couple can plan their savings and retirement funds together, and like Vel Vel said, revealing does not mean need to share everything.
  
  ps: the above apply to a married couple, but if it's your future spouse, I think no need to reveal yet, until you're married.

  My advise for all married couples is to have joint & personal a/c.
  That way u don't quarrel over how u spend your money.
  
  My hubby knows I've got savings though not exactly the actual amt. cos I invest in insurance, FD, shares.
  All he knows is that he will be taken care of when he is old.
