She also self admit that she's "kiasu", "ngiao" and "kanchiong". And she really is...i pity the lab attendants...really.
Furthermore, we are of the same rank/level, no higher than me. Although she's a senior...but SO WHAT? That doesn't mean she can do whatever she likes.
Sometimes i tend to tell myself that it's ok...1 more month left...but it feels like a year to me.
Sorry..just need to let out my anger.
Aiya! why argue with grandma, just dun bother her lah. One ear go in, the other go out lor. Alot of these old pple suffered with child hallucination syndrome, as they age, they tend to do childish or teenage stuff, their brain is in reverse aging, going back to childhood, but the body is deterioting and getting old. So we must understand old age problems, because in time to become we all shall be old too. -

try to ignore her as much as you can ;should u not be able to do so, tell her straight in the face(best if in public or infront of your colleagues) to stop whatever she is doing. Embarress her a little and she'll know what to do. -

She's 60. in Nov, she retire. Keep that perspective.
Otherwise, don't gripe and try to get on her good side.
Don't make excuses for yourself and try your best not to.
Lastly, look at your job and find out what you should do and do it with pride and professionalism.
What she does is her concern. You do not want to compare yourself with her or become like her. She is obviously not your role model. Let her be whatever she wants to be cause she is not going to go anywhere anymore. But you will and you are. -

And she 's probably been given the job of tracking the staffs' movement.... like your goodself......
The boss may have given her this task as she has one month left in the company......give her the impunity to target who she dun like........than when her one month is up....she will leave......along with those in her black list.....like yourself......wahahahahah!!!!! So be nice to her!!

The notion of keeping older workers is certainly a difficult one. As younger employees join a department/company, the older ones feels threaten as they become redundant and irrelevant. And it is very real.
So how do they remain relevant, they self elect themselves as enforcer/overseer of time. Keeping tabs of our whereabouts and time coming in and out. Most of us have to deal with the s**tty kind of people. The worst thing is when they are eating snake themselves, they don't realise it.
Why can't they just mind their own business? Sighhhhhh.... -
In your situation right now, you have 2 ways to choose:
1. BE SUPER NICE. Treat her lunch, talk about her favourite subject, compliment her, etc. Don't expect anything in return immediately but by being nice, who knows that things will get better between the two of you.
2. BE SUPER NASTY. Try checking up on her every single day until she gets tired of it. Ask her persistently 'what do you eat?', 'what are you wearing?' and so on. Let her taste her own medicine. -
