  maths is nt my strong subject, but for my year, they said tht the science paper ask the qns about the bus carrying alot people on top, will have mroe tendency to flip.....a qns about centre of gravity

  Firstly I believe that the father has all the right to worry about his son. It really hurts to see your son coming home crying becoz of a supposedly "unfair" paper. The son has a bright future after all, judging from what he said.
  
  But really, every now and then the papers will get tough, same for the Os and As. Its really not in anyone's jurisdiction other than the SEAB's or Cambridge Syndicate's. Its hard to suck it up, but in the end theres really no point complaining.
  
  Lastly, I really wonder how many pple the father went to collect his information from. He did mention GEP students, and he did use many sweeping statements. I believe that of course th teachers and his friends will have to say its tough, judging from his quite pompous demeanor, who dares to rub salt into his egoistic wound. (Other than in sgForums)

  nowadays hor.. kids are having a life like handing them a silver platter, maths is not about how u answer the questions. it's a test on understanding and how u apply concept in. if that guy's son cant do it(even though he is from a "top" class), this means that the son is not being exposed to other kinds of problem sums.
