News Flash: Molester on the Roam in Bedok North St 3 Area

This is a side story to the topic posted “Assault on Cultured Milk Home Delivery Ladies” by "new creation"
While we were at Bedok Police neighborhood police centre filing report for this assault case on my mum, I overheard in the adjacent counter, this lady who arrived with her parents to file for a molestation case which happened also on the night of 2145hrs; 11th October.
In essence the lady (a lady in her early 20s) living in block 542, Bedok North St 3, entered the lift and then a dark colored skinned man entered the lift as well. In the lift, this man exposed his private parts to her, asked her if she wants to have sex with him, and subsequently tried to hug her and cover her mouth.
It was fortunate that she was able to escape; and it is even more commendable for her to come and make the police report asap. I really freaking hate molestorsÂ… I mean anyway, this news alert is for residents living in the Bedok North Street 3 area. Ladies and school girls, please keep a look out for such a suspicious character and I think for the moment, its best that you arrange a male partner/sibling to escort you from the bus stop or wait for you at the lift lobby. If there are no escorts, please ensure no 1 is following you before u enter the lifts. Gosh I always thought Bedok is relatively peaceful Well yeah, ladies please be careful. -

Molesters and flashers are actually quite common...
Just that the papers don't report it and then nobody knows, except the cops themselves. -

Actually, i personally feel that. when a molest case happens, though the report is filed by the police , but the residents in the vinicity are not informed.
Then while the police are scrambling to investigate, they may or may not issue an alert to the residents. That is when the molester thinks he succeeded and will continue to commit a few more cases before he is arrested by our capable police force. Every additional assault means one more traumatized soul, one more soul who is nw afraid of walking in the dark, taking the lift alone and worst lose faith and confidence in men. Is this the kind of life we want for our sisters, female classmates, or girlfriends?. sign...
Hence, there is a need to put out a notice alert either on the notice boards in each HDB block or such as the victim herself.. posting some form of notice on major online forums etc to raise awareness of the attack. -
