Why are some even bothering to start on the I-went-to-jc-so-I-am-better-than-poly or vice versa?
Why not bring up your benchmark to I-have-a-PhD-from-Harvard/Ivy League/Ox-Bridge?

JC posers = behave like elite executive who speaks perfect english, mathematician, albert einstein, future minister, cream-of-the-crop folks, suave and polite aunty-killers, and anything that reeks of elitism

Next, u went on to stereotype JC students. oh ya plus the insults also.

I believe there's no JC is better or poly is lousier. There's no need for this thread at all. Blame MOE la like that for creating JC and poly

Honestly, most JC and Polytechnics debate are without merits simply because those who enter JC, never had a chance to experience a Polytechnic environment, and vice versa. Of course there are some who drop out of JC to enter Polytechnics and etc, but they are too small a sample size to provide a proper conclusion either ways.
Being from a Junior College in my yesteryears, I have to say that the merits of a Junior College are the hardening you receive, from a competitive environment and culture. Of course, the same could be said of Polytechnics, but to what extend?

Rather than attending schools just for the lessons, why not make full use of the environment? Make more friends and fully maximise the facilities and avenues of opportunity offered. That's what schools have over books. -

not everyone lah....some are nerds, but a considerable number of them having dyed hair of all colors, long fringes and back.....their hairstyle is like those mane types....a mix of SG and japanese, clothes also.
quite a number has bad dress sense, but then again, all will be changing into No. 4 very soon. -
also, i personally have no enmity against poly or ITE posers, only JC ones.
those JC ****ers i really really cannot stand....
maybe because everytime i see them, i get reminded of our SG gahmen. -
