Your head..some private course need either min 10 yrs of education, N levels or 3 O's credits. Some even need full O's cert.

is up to the student, if he wants to cut classes, be late den he can jolly well forget abt taking his exams as most private schs i know of strictly require a 90% attendance for full time studies and 80% attendence for part time studies.
holidays(2 wks) are short and only once every 3 mths for my sch.
lecturers are very helpful in my case, other sch i nt so sure
and its not easy ya, sch fees is exp.
but my lecturer very steady one... every friday ask me to sign frm mon to thurs...

ya, some ppl have wrong idea of private schools, some private school might even be betta den poly , not sure about jc. it's just that poly have those modules there is NOT related to the repective courses, but helps u in some other part of yr career. while private only teaches things that are related to your courses. thus, they finish they course faster den poly.

I'm currently working part-time and also a student at a private school.
Am from TP, but withdraw because there was a change of interest.
Nevertheless, reading that if you want to go for a course in a private school, you need money is partially correct. But if you think carefully some of the dip offered by these schools are mostly for those working adults who wish to increase their salary with this qualification. And the amount to be paid can be ranged from $1000-$2000. Its not that expensive, when you can also have subsidaries from NUTC, CDC and also your company.
No doubt that schooling in a private school requires you a minimum
qualification to get into these courses, to think of it, at 3 'n' and 1'0' is requirement.
And to compare with TP and Private schools, its better to be in TP, cause you tend to mix around with people your age, then in private schools, more working adults. And the curiculum for private schools are abit unorganised and lack of time to begin with, which at the end of the day, you have to study twice as hard as the poly students -

I give u an instance. MDIS offers a Mass Comms degree from Oklahoma City University. A few of the modules offered by the course includes "Arts and Our World", "Behaviorial Science" which is similar to Psychology, "Personal Lifestyle Management", "Environmental Science" and "Values and Cultures".
We finish faster than Poly because our program is a more intense one. Some schools are like that : 2-3 weeks of lectures, 1 week of tutorial, then exam, holiday 2-3 weeks before next module. That's why they finish earlier.
