But I think Starhub's student plan is the best when you message a lot like me..because their 1000 free sms can send to ALL SPs..unlike Singtel..500 to all SPs and another 500 limited to only Singtel lines..

can retain ur new no. jus need to pay starbhub $30 if im not wrong. den u got ur old singtel no, new starhub no. in 1 line subscription

Using starthub now and a little disappointed. every morning switch on phone, need to wait few hours to receive the messages my friends sent me last night.

using both ST & M1. ST the rebates more pathetic and sometimes quite difficult to get thru their 1626 hotline. M1 cust svc more efficient and cheaper.

i onli stick wif singtel for the better reception (everywhere)
if anything happens to the reception i'm gonna jump to m1. everything else abt singtel sucks.
but then again, starhub sucks even more at coverage.
i guess the main point is that singtel maintains a dual band in singapore. starhub doesn't. (not counting 3g)
so when the mrt goes underground, a singtel 2.5g phone will switch to another band after the first band's reception goes to zero. whereas starhub's reception will go to zero and stay there.
something liddat bah.
i nt sure also.
i'll never use starhub mobile. but i like starhub maxonline.
i'll never use singnet, but i like singtel mobile.
i wish singtel mobile and starhub maxonline can just be one company. then i'd be really happy. -

singtel is my first sp
then i switch to m1
then switch to starhub (very bad experience)
then switch back to singtel again
so far, singtel is quite good -

coz 200 voucher vs 30 voucher
den the guy told me he can offer me $4 rebate every mth
but lidat oni $100 nia
so i dun wan
and ask him one time number retention fee how much
he dun wan tell me, ask me call starhub

I oso dun like Singnet but Starhub's broadband speed seems to depend on the number of users sharing the signal - the more users, the slower the speed.........
Singnet one at least seems to be more constant as there is no sharing......
Can't have the best of everything, I guess. -

dunno, i downgraded to 1mbps from 3mbps, still ok leh for singnet......while my mobile plan is singtel but very special plan so cannot change provider

DUn bother to do the number porting
coz i already like wan to sign up for starhub liao from singtel
Then they tell me, retain number can, but cannot SMS to old number

den wads the donkey use of retaining my number
Aniway the starhub authorisation hub is dishonest la
Outside put white board big big the price plans, say my SE 650i sign 1 yr is 98, 2 yr is 198
Den i go inside then they tell me 198 is for the 40+ plans
if sign cheap plans is 298
WTF again -
And my 6500 classic singtel sell 198, starhub is 100

i think what they will do is give u one mutli-sim card.. so that u can use 2 numbers.. then every mth u pay a few dollars more lor. -

Right now, I'm a happy customer of M1.
