I;ve asked this to one of the indo chinese staying in canada, he told me yea most indo chinese are rich though now post suharto tougher to make money..
How come sg chinese poorer off then their indo chinese counterparts?

cos the native indos are damn lazy......no enterprising dun wanna take risks of business/wealth venturing, with no competitor other than their fellow chinese race who has small polulation in indo....voila u got it!...

Some PRC Chinese have parents in high ranking position in the government. I know of quite afew of these students. Makes me wonder how they can afford things better than me since the pay for the President is just less than $1,000 a month. Salaries for the Singapore President, PM and Ministers salary is abit different from the current pay (this article was written some time back), because our PM Lee Hsien Loong just increased his salary, the president's and Ministers salary another 2 million. -

They actually work very hard and those native Indonesians are so lazy.
