Any Singaporean here ever get mistaken for PRC China girl?

Alot of time I go Geylang makan i stand and wait for my friend who go park his car got ppl come up to me ask me how much or ask me go in their car... wa lao... Beside me got one whole row of PRC girls there...

i think best way to clarify dat u r not prc is by speaking hokkien.

- go hawker centre n the uncles/aunties shout at u with very gei(fake) or forced mandarin "ni yao sherrrrr merrrrrrr?"
- go takashimaya n sometimes salesgals will whisper amongst themselves "aiyer, china girl also know how to shop here ah? hahaha....."
Wah lao, really kao bei kao bu kanasai man!! This is my country too ok! I m 4th generation peranakan somemore.
If u r a Singaporean guy n this happens to ur mother, wife or sister juz coz' they happen to not look typically S'porean, how would u feel?

If u go beijing and shanghai, u will see that many of the ladies there are very well dressed.
China is a very huge country. People from different parts of China look different.
Spore is just a tiny island state. Singaporean chinese ancestors come from Southern China. So its hard to distinguish Southern China girls from Singapore girls. Due to common ancestry. They look alike.
But those girls from Northern China, they look different from Spore Chinese girls. -

I get very pissed when ppl mistake me for PRCs. I AM NOT!!!! Got some eat potato one still try to speak with me in their horrendous chinese. I answered in english then they ask why china girl english so fluent. STOOOOPPPEEEDDDD...
My bf, last time dare not approach me...Cuz he thought I china girl and he cant speak chinese..

Actually this not the worse being mistaken to be PRC
The worse things is my classmate they never talk to me for 1 mths in class I felt left out...
Then finally i know they tot i japaness they tot I dun know how to speak Mandarin and to them Japaness they when they speak English they will not understand... Only when I walk up to them I speak in Mandarin they say wow japaness know how to speak Mandarin... I fianlly say i am not Japaness lah... -
