There was not enough drinks to go around too.
The live band, Ronin, was there for all the wrong reasons, its a prom not a black maria concert gig.
Oh yea, My School Hall Prom cost about $40 while an avg hotel one would cost $70 to $80 and would be definitely more worth it for an experience.
Haiz...don't understand why everytime somebody say something slightly negative about their school, fellow forumers will accuse the TS of being unappreciative. Why nobody go to the 'politics' forum and accuse everyone there of being unappreciative of the government? As thinking individuals we're not allowed to be critical of our own school?Originally posted by FBI:TS don seems to appreciates wat the sch is doing for him
Prom night is not about food and drinks mah...it's about having fun with your friends for perhaps one of the last time.Originally posted by illegaltender:Mine was in the school hall. Besides, I never scold the school or say it sucks without giving proper evidence or anything like that. I was just asking why a school's prom night has to be so expensive and suggesting that a cheaper one will do.
In which part of my first post do I indicate that I am unappreciative of their effort to come out with a prom night in the first place?
Impossible to pay by installment. Did you realise when they give u the news, it was like a few months ago?Originally posted by annoy-you-must:Prom night is not about food and drinks mah...it's about having fun with your friends for perhaps one of the last time.
Actually, $70 to $80 for prom night is still okay if we pay by installment. But for some school...it's way more than $100 (can't remember the exact amount)...that's different.
Then that's already paying by installment liao lorh.Originally posted by Y_Shun:Impossible to pay by installment. Did you realise when they give u the news, it was like a few months ago?
- ordering the ballroom etc, requires a month/fewmonths notice?
- secondly, let you persuade your parents to give u the money or even let you quickly save up money
My school collected the payment(80$) like this,
-$20
-$20
-$40
