When I had got my refund and walked away, he complained to the officer that she should not have refunded me since was my fault to have forgotten to tab my card & bluff.......... I walked back and asked him, 'Dun I have the right? Otherwise, she wouldn't have done so.' Then this angmo told the officer, 'See... she still have the time to say so much.'
Before I could say further, this angmo glared at me sacrastically and walked away. Wow.... I was really angry, come on what right did he have to comment that. I mean if you think I'm holding the q, then you can tell us nicely to process his first cos he's in the hurry. Or complain to Transitlink that they should stop all refund lah.
Really... I have never never encounter this sort of RUDE, CRUDE person in Singapore before. Give Up!!!
I don't think too much of it...most to most lan lan i loose up to $1 or maybe lesser than that...won't even bother getting a refund...
I mean it's not like i lost a million bucks...
Unless yur telling me u forget to tap for every bus ride u take... -

I once was shouted at across the road by a group of Ang Mos to off my engine and said it stank. I told them to say "please". Guess what? It's a few other wretched singaporeans that commented that I was rude.

Just wanted to comment on how 'impatient' and 'rude' you make Ang-moh's out to be -
In my last summer holidays I worked here in a restaurant as a waiter, and without trying to make any sweeping generalisations, I noticed that the ang-mohs are the ones who will smile, be polite to you and thank you when ordering their food, when they receive their meals and the like. If anything takes longer to come than expected, they will sometimes ask what has happened to their food, but they will very usually understand the problems and accept it happily. Almost all my experiences serving them were pleasant, and I felt respected by them.
Whereas yes there were many local singaporeans who acted the same way, I did notice a more apparent lack in politeness and respect, they were far less likely to say 'thank you' or speak to you in a kind tone. If there was ever a problem, they were usually alot less understanding, and were alot more impatient. If they ever had an empty glass and I asked them if they would like another, some simply pointed at the empty glass and didnt say anything. Just small things like that, but it appeared quite rude to me.
Just wanna say that this should be taken with a pinch of salt, but it's just an experience which opened my eyes up a little to the differences here -
sale line cannot like that metality.. hw u going to live? i dun tink ang mo have any problem with buying stuff... u kind they even more kind... u good they comment and write good thing.... sg is diff..abit wrong.. COMPLAINT LIAO.. they always tink they HAVE THE RIGHT TO COMPLAINT mindset lol...

Huh, realli, u can stand it, wee! never see a guy who can turn off a sweet 16yo ang mo gal, they got good shape and size ok, and their blue eyes, sweet soft lips and white skin can make u so sensous and YOU SAID U CAN TURN OFF!!!, i dun believe it, most sg guy when approached by Angmo gal, all melt liao. Some singaporeans have issues.They have the bloody colonialist mindset that white is superior. So therefore they must a) por the ang moh or b) insult the ang moh.
Some caucasians have issues. They think Singaporeans are easy pushovers because of the behaviour shown by some Singaporeans.
Everyone have issues.
If I were the TS , I will just look at the ang moh and say "excuse me , it is none of your business. Why are you eavesdropping? Your parents never teach you manners ?". Walk off with class and dignity. -
Not to mention Singaporeans having the same uppity mindset abroad, walking like they've forced the nation open for trade at gunpoint.
