  What bird, that can be found in Singapore, circles the sky without flapping its wings (what's the term for it)?

  I think a number of the larger birds do this. It's called thermalling, wherein the bird circles to stay within the rising column of air (thermal) to gain altitude without flapping its wings.
  
  Gliders use this same technique to stay aloft.

  Healthy cockatiels and parakeets usually have cheerful dispositions which make them ideal pets to have in the house.

  I always spot one circling the sky when I'm at home. Wonder what bird it is... I think it has kids! I saw a smaller one beside it just the other day!

  A bird not caged nor chained , is a happy bird.
  Even a flightless bird will be happy just being in the wild.
