Let say friend A, a student and friend B, working full-time, went for a lunch together. After the lunch, friend B paid with his credit card as it was easier this way.
So A decided to pay B by cash. Let say A's meal cost abt $11.70, but he only had 70cent coins and 2 pieces of $10 notes. So A gave B $10.70 first and asked B how to settle the last $1. A had only 1 $10 note left and B did not have $9 change.
ok here is the question. Let say you are the friend B, what will you do?
1) Forget about the last $1 since you two are friends.
2) Ask A to give you his $10 and you returned whatever change you have to him(assumed you had about $7 or $8 change).
3) Insisted A to buy something else in order to have small change to for him to return you back the $1.
4) Other actions. -

Seem that most people will choose Option 1 since B is working full time whereas A is still a student.
Now, let say you are A, what will you do if your friend B insisted on either Option 2 or Option 3? -
