i've been using singtel ever since i first had internet connection and i've never experienced any major problems

1. Someone may be tapping into your bandwith.
2. Dedicated bandwidth sounds great, but when the whole of Singapore is using only those few gateways to the rest of the web world, it won't make much of a difference. -

sometime its some application causing the internet speed slow down..
just like mine,
i will need to manually esit the jfcache blar blar blar if i want to play game or load video..
the jfcache blar blar blar its a online movie thingy whici i install myself -

The cause: network problems on Starhub's side. They will look into it but no fixed date on when it will be fixed. -
Republic Poly also having the same problem ... Takes 10 min to load a frecking page and msn is retarded , sometimes cant send or receive

Been getting this for about a month now...only in the night; using 12mbps plan.
Basically while surfing halfway, EVERY page suddenly takes eternity to load up. Yet strangely none of my other internet activities other than internet surfing is fine. MSN still runs, as well as all my online games. I still get normal latencys of 15 - 30ms in local CS:S and TF2 servers.
Usually I'll just turn off my modem for about 10 minutes, and it's fine for the rest of the night. Still...it's pretty damn annoying. Glad to know I'm not the only one facing these problems.
No one is tapping into my bandwith. I've checked several times and I used to shut down my wireless previously when I experienced it.
None of my applications are sucking my bandwith. No downloading, no uploading; plus I said that my online games are still lag free, whereas internet surfing is hell. If it were my bandwith that was screwed, my games would lag like hell too.
No, it's not the individual website either, because I'd be surfing like 5 different websites at the same time, and they ALL stop loading together. Even Google doesn't load up. -
i have been experiencing such lags for the past 2 weeks. it happens around evening and midnight. it's getting damn annoying! all the websites will just hang n refuse to load, i'm not even talking about loading slowy, it totally stops!

And i thought i'm the only one having this problem.
As usual after 11pm lately the whole internet surfing experience starts becoming irritating cause the downloading speed halt if not it is running at below 1kbps. Like around 500 bytes per second which is like wtf? -
Just try restart your modem and router...
Works for me anyway. -
