Most geniuses and super-rich didn't do well in school.I am nt saying all school drop outs made it big.
If it's a memory problem,ther is nothing hard work can't change.
I was called stupid "as per standards" of teacher and I am in the best position of all class mates:).When I go to meet them once a while some are even ashamed to talk.Tht's a good revenge.

doing well in exams does not necessarily equates to one being smart. smart ppl dun need to study much for exams. those who do and score well are not really considered smart imo.
failing exams does not mean that one is stupid
failing exams can mean a few things:
1) one is not adequately prepared for the paper. it could be due to last min preparations or one just could not be bothered(bo chap or pure laziness).
2) lack of understanding for the subject and unable to apply your concepts.
3) the subject could be one that is considered alot tougher than those that you have previously encountered.
4) the subject could be one that is very subjectively graded. eg literature.
i would not use the word stupid on ppl who failed their exams. rather i would use it on ppl who spend 2K to 3K on woks and pans after some persuasion by salesman or believe in miracle medicine sold by conmen.

hmm. it's probably true.
i used to do really badly in poly, i believe it's because i didn't really cultivate a good study habit. i didn't know how to study, and i defintitely can't swallow books and somehow i just didn't get the lessons and stuff. and every semester i failed something.
but now i found my study pattern. stuff like..
i cannot study at home, i can only study in a really really quiet environment like i'm alone, or in public places like coffeebean where there's abit of background noise and distraction.
i need to make my own notes by copying. the writing helps me remember. even if i already have the lecture notes, i remember better by copying notes.
and i just got my result, 82/100 = distinction!

y r u stressed? i rem during a sch term i email my lecturer for help for an assignment one day before sch term n she flatly turned me down said she busy and asked me to email the questions instead. luckily i rush the assignment the night n cleared it. nvr want to try again.

i always manage to cheat death. i try not to b stressed if possible. appreciate the pleasant stuff in life. stress might cause hair loss.

lol. me and my friend always try to cheat death every sem la. god. last sem was really a close shave. he started the project the night b4 the due date. lol. of course we all helped, and everything went well.
then this sem, we both still doing on the due date itself.

sometimes...it gets baffling.
one of my dad's friends, a lecturer at SP, told us of this incident.
It was a tourism related course, so the students were all 10 pointers or better. But, in a test he set for them, with questions like "What is the capital of Tokyo", he got answers like "Beijing". and its not because the students are cheeky, its that they have no general knowledge whatsoever.
but, if the only question in the test is "1 + 1 = __" and you fail, then you are undeniably stupid
