wad happen if long time didnt pay NLB fine arh??

  cannot borrow books anymore?? just found out on my receipt that i have an outstanding fine of $1.80...

  when i kena 90 cents stilll can borrow like normal.....
  
  when i kena 9+ got limit to borrowing.....
  
  but maybe if you leave it for a year or two maybe they will consider it a bad debt.....

  me last time borrow book and returned it less than 1 minute (i was playing )
  
  2 weeks later shock to see my online status shows i didn't return the book at all.
  after 4 - 5 emails exchange they lift the fine off

  i got a fren who owes the library $17.50, his mum and brother both $17.50 each cus he using their library cards.
  
  owed for 4 years le.
  
  every year NLB send letter to him and every year he chucks it into the bin.

  The limit is $6 now, iirc. If your debt surpass that limit, you will not be able to borrow any more book until the debt is cleared. Previously, it used to be $5, I think.
  
  Don't worry too much about it. I owe NLB $70.40 since years ago. They stopped sending me letters after about a year the debt was incurred.

  Cannot barrow book is ok, can go there rest and sleep for awhile.

  As long as it doesn't exceed $6, you still can borrow. If I remember correctly.

  somehow or rather.... they will only charge you until the amount of the cost of the book you borrowed....

  My younger bro lo. That time I was still in primary school and he used my card to borrow a book. Just before the due date, he lost that book. And since lost 1 liao then might as well don't return the other 3 lo.

  i got a friend who owes the library $900+
  becos either she forgot to return books/lost some books when she was in primary school
  she is 40+ 50 years old now
  the library insists that she pays up
  she refuesd to pay because she also dunno how she ended up owing this sum
  so the library blacklists her
