Originally posted by Sheesh!:I got one experience ... I was speeding down the as I was late .. this stupid girl was crossing the road yakking on the phone and did not see me coming. She was walking with a small crowd. The rest stopped at the middle of the road as it is a two way traffic, she didn't stop. I had to brake so hard, the screeching sound was damn bloody loud and my tyres actually had smoke coming out of it. I managed to stop in time ... I hate to think what would happen if I didn't... ..
This week alone while crossing the road, I witness 2 cases of stupid people crossing the road with the handphone glued to the ear :
Case 1
Woman crossing the road yakking on handphone ignoring a bus loaded with passengers. Driver horn, still bochap, didn't even look at the bus coming towards her. I look at driver, see him shaking his head, tsk, tsk, tsk..
Case 2
This one lagi power. This woman yakking on handphone and walk ON the road with her back towards the on coming traffic. Cars horn her still bochap, slowly walk to the side.
What's the matter with people nowadays? Yakking on handphone more important than life? Are their life so cheap? Cheaper than a f u c k i n g yak on handphone? Are they so tired of their own body that they rather be squashed by vehicles on the roads and then wait to be scoop up by the road sweeper?
I really no understand.
Whatever happen to my car if there is an accident, the car can be repaired and even changed for a new one, but when one live is lost, it can never be replaced! This is my take ... life is more important than anything else. But if one do not take care of his/her life, how much can we do. I may slow down and suddenly she jump out ... still will accident, as much as I am right, I will not feel good too ..Originally posted by New Creation:To the drivers:
As stupid as these commuters may be, if you did see these people, you will have to slow down and give way to them. You cant possibly floor it and hit them do you?
That is really one little sacrifice you have to make, in order to own a vehicle. And mind you, to some of these reckless commuters, their mentality is, "hey, since you saw me on the road, already, do or die, you have to give in to me, Im the biggest Fcuk"
I cant stand such reckless commuters too but its part of the bigger issue of a UNGRACIOUS Singapore.
Take it easy my man. ;-)
