i trying to write as 3rd party view as possibleOriginally posted by extrinsic:sure this is a third party view?
somehow like the TS is trying to beautified the behaviour of the student.
must hear other side of words.
IMO also, but im nt veri sure about that part....Originally posted by motoway:From my point of view, if the class is alr clearing and the teacher is packing his things, it's fine if sumone walks in and put his bag though.
I think the entering part is wrong also, the student should not have entered.Originally posted by rainee:
Yes, and since teaching have a high pay, they join the teaching force, I realise that expirenced teacher have their way of getting respect, some of the new teachers too, but somehow people are not able to control anger so properly.Originally posted by New Creation:Well you must appreciate that during the recession years of 2003, there were loads of cannot make it graduates who opted to join teaching becz of the higher ridiculous pay. Most of the younger GRADUATE Teachers came into the profession only for $$$.Thats the sole motivation.
Hence, i am not surprised you encountered such teachers who merely blow their top at students and pick a fight on students. The next time, your reply should be, "If you are so god damn capable, you wouldn't be here, but you should be out in the private sector!!!"
sometimes must be safe than sorryOriginally posted by :If I were the student entering the class and I see the teacher inside, I would first knock on the door to ask permission to enter to park my stuff.......
It is not a matter of whether you are disrupting a lesson here. Rather, it's a matter of character refinement, common courtesy and respect.
There is no right/wrong in this case, there being no standard measure against which there can be a reference......
If I'm the student, "Why don't YOU challenge me and lets 'dance'?"Originally posted by MyPillowTalks:Readme: Okay, just looking for all your opinions, no flaming required on how would u react if:
1. You are the teacher
2. You are the student
And who do you think is in a wrong
Your lesson just ended, and you are moving from another class, back to your own classroom. There is lesson going on, and they are already dismissed, moving out of the class soon. You just enter and put your belongings on ur table w/o distrupting the class, but the teacher shouted at you
Teacher: " Why are you coming into my class when im in here?"
( Bear in mind that the student did not distrupt the lesson )
The student just walk out w/o saying anything, in a sec the class exits the classroom and the angry teacher came out and started scolding the student.
Teacher shouts at the student: " Go to the General office "
Student say nicely: " give me one reason "
Teacher continues shouting the same thing, and soon the student angry also
Teacher: "tell me ur name"
Teacher: "you scared"?
(tone was trying to provoke, as u noe teacher is civil servant, and attacking a civil servant is wrong)
Student said:" Come la!"
So they continued to shout(no vulgarities), with hand actions
So, student starts to shout back already, and the teacher actually said: "want to challenge me? "
THey almost got into a fight if another teacher and student did not pull the teacher and student back.(if i saw correctly)
Also note that the teacher always punish 1/2 the class for not doing work, and the temper of the teacher is also not good. The student's mood was nt so good at that point
What would u do as a teacher and as a student??
Vent ur anger physically on the teacher, then talk later?
Apologise to the teacher after school?
Other actions?
Edit: More details can PM me, cant state too much info
What if the teacher said that out of pure anger? does it counts?Originally posted by Shotgun:If I'm the student, "Why don't YOU challenge me and lets 'dance'?"
Some teachers just aren't professional to be talking like that. I'm isolating soley on the words he used on the student. The teacher is just plain WRONG to speak like a gangster and to provoke a student into a fight. He ought to be sack for being a disgrace to the teaching profession.
Not true. Teachers are also humans. They err at times. But since teachers take up the sh** job to teach, then they ought to be shown some respect.Originally posted by humbaorox:teachers are always right
this sounds great also.Originally posted by EarlNeo:Be the new age student. Take out ur handphone and start videoing the teacher action. Dun even need to say a single word. For some reason, not reacting to any provoking seem to piss them off more then doing anything.
