Do you notice why postitution is legal in Singapore? If you notice that, they are many foreign workers (e.g) India, china, indonesia, banglahdesh and etc.. If there's no postitution in S'pore, S'pore rape & molest cases will be rising high, Becoz the government actually allows postitution in S'pore, the country have very low rates of rape n molest cases.. Agree?
(guess somehow or rather , you understand a little? right?)

Why prostitution is legal in singapore... and also many places in the world is because you cannot exactly phrase a law that outlaws prostitution.
1. need to define what prostitution is. (Sex for money, but if a wife agrees to sex in return to his husband supporting her, isn't that prostitution).
2. if prostitution is paying money for sex, the law have to define what exactly being paid is.
3. you can't outlaw intercourse. -
the whole problem about prostitution in singapore coming from FOREIGNERS is that we have too many of them.
why other country dun have?
coz they have gangs to keep the prostitutes in check, sell yourself at the wrong area and get beaten up. hence they dun have so much prostitutes in other countries.
singapore alot of horny old men also anyway. -
