Does prayers help in life?

I think prayer is a hoax. Lets say u pray for something, for example let your friend be cured of a serious sickness. If your friend die, u say it is normal. If your friend survive, u say god answered your prayer. The strange thing is u pray for 10 different things and if only one becomes reality, then u will have thought it is some supernatural being twisting the whole world to give u an unfair advantage. Then u thought prayers work

Wat is the difference if u don't pray ? Nothing.

if my friend died, i'd think its his time......if he is cured then something must've happened......scientifically that is...unless proven or unproven

i believe our prayers are answered or not, through natural events......

just like how a person's fate doesn't solely lie in wot they do but by the existance of everything and everyone around him......

I doubt God is there to grant our every little whims or needs, he gave us life and for those who are lucky enough to be in good health, what more could you want more?

Well, psychological/placebo effect. It makes you feel better, that you are doing/achieving something when you aren't.

So, basically, it won't (In my not so humble experience) have any direct impact on how anything turns out, but it will probably impact the way you behave, which will, in turn, impact events surrounding you.
