N95 mask is able to protect from those infections so it should be able to withstand your spray..
you can either get it directly from 3M or at rehab mart..

N95 is to protect you from micro fluids expelled by us when we sneeze. I need a gas masks because the vapor produced by spray painting lacquer paints is toxic, hence i need a gas masks that can block out such vapors.
I doubt the N95 can block out such vapors bah . Thanks anw. ![]()

till date, N95 mask is still the best protection mask available..
the other alternative is to do your spraying in a well ventilated area & you might wanna invest in an exhaust fan..
I have survived spraying LPS1,3 and WD 40 in confined spaces and I survived.
But it didn't feel good getting high over the fumes.![]()

Hmm i was told by an expert modeller that a gas mask is a must, to prevent thinner poisoning, since the paint is slightly diluted with thinner. So bo bian, even if place is well ventilated, its better to play safe.

LPS1 and WD40 is different. Lacquer paints when sprayed, they form very small particles and produces a toxic vapour.
Have you seen before how people spray paint cars and wears a gas mask? Its the same, just on a smaller scale.

N95 isnt designed to block out fumes. If not, people would have cut cost and get this instead. ![]()
Hmm why not try those DIY stores? I mean The D.I.Y store. I also trying out one day.
