Why not use paint brush?
If you are good at painting the quality should not be inferior. I always paint my models.
hey do it in a well ventilated room, or do it under ur void deck. dun really need gas mask one

Lacquer paint cannot be paint brushed. The result would be 'stretched' paint which will look ugly, cause the paint drys too fast to be paint brushed. It dries almost as fast as those 'liquid paper'.
