  I sit in a room shared with a colleague..face the computer from 9 to 6..most of the days OT until 8...watch graphs, research archives as long as 30 years back..do some forecasting..compare and contrast previous forecast..compile report..attend meetings in office or other client's premises..attend local and overseas job trainings...submit bi-annualy findings and reports...any free time will be snacking or smoking...

  -_-" done that for 1 year already..

  my friend also attending NIE somewhere @ NTU area

  last practicum she did not make it

  now back to class

  next practical session, she has to re-do, without salary.

  too bad MOE send her to some hopeless english neigourhood school to teach chinese,

  I share some teaching method with her too.

  her chinese class student result improved

  too bad her supervisor @ that school not happy with her

  cannot mixed with different group of people,

  only forcal on student result improvement

  only after the evual session, i also notice her weakness,

  you can be good, but their are still other senior around you,

  give them faces, asking them for tips on teaching, even it is your ideal, just share with senior asking them for pointers for improvement, even senior is wrong, just Q&A if it is correct, let senior know, but not by telling them they had made mistake

  If u can hang on for 5 years or more, I salute you deep deep!

  Even Uni students some I also cannot tahan, pri sch kids are worse off.

  Anyway, it is a job that require a lot of love and patience. I think I may have the former but definitely not the latter.

  yea...need a lot of patience. They can drive you nuts sometimes but at the same time, they can also be adorable =)
