  I started this thread for discussion not flaming and trolling.    That lout has record of going round threads for flaming and trolling.   If you are in this thread for flaming and trolling, you are not welcome to my thread.

  Lout is notorious in sgforums.

  Hi Everyone,

  I'm one of the moderators in the 3in1kopitiam forum. I was referred to this thread which mentioned people complaining against 3in1kopitiam for being laxed in moderation. I wish to give our side of the story so that forumers can judge for yourselves.

  When 3in1kopitiam was formed few months ago after the Delphi-based old Sammyboy forum was taken down, it has always been our intention to moderate the forum as lightly as possible. The main thing we don't want to see is excessive spammings or squabblings among forumers thus spoiling the readability of the original thread. 

  However, we do recognise that in forums, it is inevitable that some people will step on others resulting in some contentions. Normally, such fights will die down after a day or 2. However, in cases of prolonged fights, we do step in to gently advise both sides to stop or ignore each other (Delphi-based forums have got the ignore function). If the fights persist, we will then proceed to put the parties involved in probation for few days. As far as possible, we do not like to ban people as we feel such measure would be too draconian. Until we cannot tolerate anymore, we will then proceed to ban people as a last resort.

  Now, back to the story, there was indeed a fight broken out between a certain 2 parties. One of them wanted us to ban the other. We did not as we felt the situation wasn't that bad to warrant a ban (we've seen worst situations in the old Sammyboy forum). However, the brother would have none of it. He wanted to see "blood". Since we did not acquiesced to his demand, he became angry and threw abuses at the moderators. We spent countless postings trying to reason with him but to no avail. In the end, we just left him alone. In any case, we would always welcome him back if he feels like visiting us again. We do not hold any grudges against him. Hope this helps to explain our side of the story.

  This will be my last post to this thread on the subject matter. Thank you for your attention.

  I don't get banned in forums.   The mod is very lenient to you if not you would have been banned long ago.    I read posts from forumers that they want you banned.
