I gave mine away a few years back...It was quite old and I finish reading them when I was 11. It has been gathering dust there for the longest time. I understand her sentiments.

The fact is that everyone is using the internet to get information these days.

By the time my kids read it, got new and updated versions le.
This is published in 1988. Imagine how much more new information was created in this 20 years? -
Then just throw into those recycling bins.
Even if you donate, but if its old, people will throw into recycling bins too.

I've some stationary and books for donation too.. may have toys as well, where to donate them?

encyclopedias... so ancient. I remember there used to be encyclopedia salesmen back in the 80s and 90s.
Until the DVD-rom encyclopedia made it redudant.
And then wikipedia made the latter redundant.
Not sure if anyone would even bother flipping hard copy encyclopedias.
