What do you think about going overseas to study?

Go overseas uni study, more exposure but damn ex sia... 4 yrs in US uni can cost 300-400k sing dollars... australia and UK not much farther behind.... singapore uni so cheap...7k a year, at most including living expenses also 50k sing... 6-8 times cheaper than US but study in singapore so boring sia... 12 yrs study in local school until sibei sian already... and primary secondary and jc all catholic school... wahhh. what do you all think? if got no money, destined to stay in singapore forever?

study in other private schs in SG, better than go overseas. can save quite a lot $$.

You can do your degree here and do masters or PhD overseas if you have budget constraint.

like, the four seasons other countries' culture pace of life how their locals live day by day knowing people you wouldn't know in singapore -

i studied overseas before. there is good and bad..but must be very very disciplined and independent.
if u are mummy's boy or daddy's girl, better not to go..cos u will have hard time surviving day to day.

TS wanna go overseas study to experience 4 seasons. This is a very expensive way to experience the 4 seasons. Might as well go tour during the different seasons to experience it. wu li tou.

If you don't have sufficient cash to study overseas, then study harder to obtain a scholarship to sponsor you.

Reading from his post, seems clear that his main purpose to study overseas is to experience the 4 seasons and study does not seem his priority. -
