What do you think about going overseas to study?

  Go overseas can meet people you won't see otherwise...can experience a different culture...I didn't only say 4 seasons

  No...got like more prestigious uni overseas...Edinburgh...Australian national university...york... brown univ...etc

  i planning on going to Canada to study in UoT when Alevels results release this year only cos i know i won't be able to make it in local uni.

  come aus study also very boring.....

   

  i'm going back perth and i'm going to be so damn bored. so bored until drink beer belly bigbig...... nothing to do drive around with friend and go casino lose money..... wkday nights especially.... nothing to do @ all..

   

  wkend nights are just getting drunk.

   

  i think i'd rather be in sg where food is good and cheap, and taxi rides are dirt-cheap.

  overseas does not = good

  go overseas only if u have money and you know that some how, you'll obtain a solid benefit at the end of the stay. Education costs are rising every year, better to go overseas to study now than later

  overseas does not = good

  too bad, you are in the wrong place.  Perth is a very boring place.   Can bore one to death!   I don't like Perth.

  Aye, if your solely talking about education. I think it heavily boils down to the individual. The only reason why qualification is more important is that it's easier for employers to actually gauge if your good.
  
  Cause it's pretty much impossible to tell if the individual's mindset is good for the job based on one interview. It requires many different difficult situations so education qualification is way easier to gauge.
  
  So my point is, get a nice balence of qualification with recognition and the rest solely depends on yourself.
