where to buy bags?

need a new bag to carry to work.
budget below S$35 (no brand one is perfectly ok).
want to be hand-carry and not backpack or those zinc bags or any satchels / slingbag.
need to contain Straits times, big huge water bottle, battery charger, jacket (folded neatly).
any place in SG got sell big variety of bags? everywhere i go to malls, it's always the same old chain outlets selling the same old trash from nike, addidas.
i'm trying not to get any branded bags; it's uncool.

try going for those ladies bag then. u can hand carry em and wear it over your shoulder when you're feeling tired.

not always mah.
there should be some obscure brands we never heard before but are able to offer gud quality. they're cheap due to poor publicity. but thats hard to say in singapore.

yeah, capitaland is right; i'm trying to look for brands who have great design and quality but bad publicity.
such things are usually the best. Crumpler and Le Cotique sports and all those Zinc crap are for xmm and xdd and really sucks, though.

Go to Sheng Xiong and buy some black garbage bag. It's below 35 bucks. Can be hand carried. And can store all those crap you mentioned about and more. Disposible and waterproof. Your gonna get more than you bargained for.
Well, in all seriousness. Fantagf is right. You should go to Mustafa center. Because i got a backpack there at a cheap price, and that bagpack can actually be changed into a hand carry bag and sling bag.
It's a Campro bag. I got it below 50 bucks and it's really big. The downside would be that some people regard it as bulky. (I'm all for big bags so it doesn't bother me) And don't expect the same premium quality you'd expect from a Deuter because it's a cheap bag. It's made of thin canvas. The stiching isn't great. It actually ripped itself apart when i used it for secondary school. But then again... I used to dump a week's worth of class textbook in it. =P
Personally, i think that you shouldn't really scrimp on stuff that your going to use on a daily basis such as work. Buy a decent one you like and treat it as a long term investment. Cause with proper care, it's going to last you for quite awhile. -
Use paper bag then .. Just good for your stuffs.
Maybe u would wan to ask a friend who is going Thai or w/e to get from u.
