good luck.![]()
If they tell you all the bad things, would so many people still go do lasik?
Of course they will tell you there is more good then bad, hello its your money they are making down here.![]()
Its still relatively new procedure. I'd rather wait and see first.
Who knows what would happen when my eyes started to age. Eye sights is too important to mess around with. If I go blind I'd rather die ah.

Hi, i did lasik more than 8 years ago, and the results have been good, despite my high astigmatism (200-300 degrees in each eye) and myopia (600-700 degrees). I don't wear contact lens anymore. Only when i'm driving at night, I wear specs (right eye 100 degrees).
I must say the wonderful thing about doing lasik is that I am no longer dependent on contact lens or specs, especially inconvenient on holidays or when doing sports. I no longer get the red eye effect due to eye infection (either aircon in office dried up eyes or contact lens discomfort).
My surgeon was Dr Chan Wing Kwong. He was very professional and skillful. He used to be in SNEC, but i think he is now in Camden.
Anyway, think about it carefully whether you need lasik. As with any surgical procedure, it carries risk. So be very sure you want to do this. And always operate on one eye first (not both at the same time).
Lasik is wonderful for people with high degrees. Those with low degrees generally don't see so much of a difference in their lives.
