I seldom see no. (5) and (6) and (7) is even more rare. For many couples, the bf always seems to be darker than the gf or at least won't be fairer than her. Just wondering could this be due to the long-standing stereotype Asian value (specifically sg chinese) that guys prefer fair girls and girls prefer tanned guys? Or perhaps due to the fact that there are more normal skin tone/tanned people compared to fair people in the population?
Anyway, a question for the ladies, will you mind dating a guy who is much fairer than you (if you are the rather tanned type) or a little fairer than you (if you are of normal skin tone)? (Assuming the fair guy does not look weak but is athletic type, just that his skin just cannot be tanned)
If i want a tanned guy, i will get a bangala, if i want a fair guy, i look for ang mo, and if i want a normal guy, i will get a Chinese Singaporean.
