hm.. yup she wasnt a bad person at first. she seemed normal. i told that to my lawyer and he replied that everyone is normal on the appearance. and he gave me the airport example which i mentioned above. i was like, ok its true. it happens even in malaysia. so i think it all boils down to help sparely

The thing is resolved in a way. But i guess you now know that helping people do not go to the extent of giving money or personal particulars. Do something more generic like help old lady cross the road, bring lost child to police station..
help, but don't shoot yourself in the leg. practice wisdom
yes. so not to help in the expense/risk of myself. but i think giving money is ok. as long as i have enough to provide for me and my family. the extra i dont mind giving it to the needies. i define needies as in those who cant even meet their basic human needs like home or food because they cant, and not those for pleasure or waiting for kind souls to feed them.

it's good to be kind, but...

Later terrorist bomb singapore you will die. bad things has a chance of happening. some more than others.
ha. okok understood. but how i know. my main intention then was to help. didnt think so much la. but now i know. i will think be4 i help
classic case of acting before thinking. don't feel bad about it. we all make mistakes. take it as a learning experience.
thanks outlander. its definitely very encouraging. i can say that u r the first to say take it as a learning experience. all that i have told of the situation said im stupid and dumb to do such a deed.
im glad that nothing happened to me. my lawyer event illustrated that in any event, if the woman is a criminal, the police would arrest me and bring me to a building and lock me in a room. the room is dark and the people there give only the impression of pain. they dont interrogate you but, they give a good bash first. they will make me suffer until i admit that im linked to the criminal. that really freaked me out. thats 1 of the main reasons i cancelled the line at my lawyer's face.
If she misuse the card, you are in deep shit.

There is a limit to kindness, you crossed it. If you have to pay the price, its because you crossed it.![]()
it just showed that u r a kind person
keep it up
btw.. i sometimes run into people in the streets, they will walk up to me, then mumble that they haven't eaten, can i give them some spare change. occurred 3 times already, 2 old ladies, and 1 man in his late 30s to early 40s.
and all 3 times, i either didn't have change on me, or i was in a hurry.
and i have been pondering on this issue for quite abit. i think hor, it's not wise to give money, because we really don't know what the money is being used for. i think it's better to buy them a meal instead.

sometim at hawker center, i would ask them to order their food and pay for them rather then giving them money

i second that.
oo. yup. the idea of offering to buy them a meal is good.
i was at a food centre at chinatown then i saw this lady selling tissue papers. as usual 3 for $1. i gave her 1 $2 note and she just gave me 1 tissue paper and walked away. i didnt chase her cos i know there is no way she will return the money. then i heard from my friend's mum (she runs a noodle stall there) that the lady sells tissue and every night, she will drink beer there.
then do u buy tissue from her is helping her? anyway i didnt buy any from her after that incident.

"my lawyer" and "my lawyer" and "my lawyer"
u have your own personal lawyer?
yup yup. i look him up for any legal opinions.

this lawyer yr friend? quite cool to have a lawyer as a friend, any law stuff can just ask
yup.. my friend as well.
but its not good to keep asking him for legal opinions. just occasionally some matters. for trivia its ok. but not very serious things. its not good to make use of him because of his profession, unless im consulting and paying him.
