  My view is that for every bit of energy you save, some bugger at the other side of the world will be wasting that exact same amount.

  I think we need to understand that such movements cannot bring you instant results or cannot fight the harm that we are doing to the climate change.

  However, we need to start somewhere. No matter what you gonna say about such initiatives like Earth Hour, the fact remains that it will help no matter how small or big the impact is. If you do not even start, then when will you ever start?\

  So instead of showing cynicism and a critical mindset towards these initiatives, why not do it and show you do care?
