  itallian men are  one of the shortest in europe in the past during first world war their men averaged 163cm shortest in europe at that time and now still is.  and their workforce is one of the least efficient in the  region  the mafia still have a lot of influence today normally not body would dare to speak   abt them.,thus national security is not really very safe.also  u have illigal immigrants comming from the  south into the poorer regions of italy such as sicily.
