  There are nice and unpleasant ones.    I find majority of those from northern china extremely critical.

  if all of singaporeans are willing to take a lower pay,

  price of items WILL drop as the company doesn't need to rise prices to pay for YOUR salary

  Its an chain effect, singaporeans ask for this to happen

  When they want higher pay, and reducing work.

  this is what you get

  i think now with the recession, govt having a lower quota on the no. of foreigners coming in to SG..

  tats a good thing...

   

  Hopefully consumers will start appreciating  and buying products/services by Singapore..

   

  maybe can start campaign "Buy Singapore by Singapore"

  That would be a protectionist policy. If i am not wrong the ASEAN countries have pledged not to implement protectionist policies for the benefit of the host country. Doing so would be in direct violation of the agreement...
